Spray drying of ceramic granules (small batch/multiple varieties supported)
"Available from slurry preparation" We accept orders for small lot production and testing of various products.
Spray drying is a technology that involves spraying a liquid and rapidly drying it with hot air to obtain spherical particles. In the press molding of fine ceramics products, the granulation of ceramic materials through spray drying is an important process, along with slurry preparation, to stabilize the following factors: ● Flowability (flowability improves with granulation) ● Bulk density (the amount and density of filling in the mold become consistent) ● Uniformity (the formulation during slurry preparation and the uniform mixing of composite materials (ball milling)) Our company can accommodate from lab test levels (a few liters of slurry) to mass production (ton-level granules). We can also measure particle size distribution, bulk density, and moisture content. Particle size distribution can be handled in both dry and wet methods. Microscopic photography of granules is possible using an optical microscope and a digital camera. For slurry preparation, we can handle ball milling from 80L to 600L (with urethane or nylon lining). We can also assist in selecting binders and dispersants. (We do not accept molding, firing, or sintering services.) *For more details, please download the materials or contact us.
